This screencast shows how to use the Waterloo Uncovered’s Archaeological Recording Kit (ARK) to explore the raw data behind interpretations and conclusions. The ARK, developed by L – P : Archaeology, can be found at http://www.lparchaeology.com/waterloo….

Please note that the data is continuously evolving and will be subject to change as the data is further analysed, finds cleaned and we excavate more of the famous battlefield.

ARK: Archaeological Recording Kit

ARK the Archaeological Recording Kit is an opensource, standards compliant, web-delivered system for the creation, storage, manipulation and publication of archaeological data and media.

Or in fewer words, it’s a system you can use to put your archaeological data on the web so that you can work on it and share it.
