When's the new forum starting hosty?
With the impending end of days for this one, I've noticed an increasing tendency for the threads to disppear up their own fundaments.
Is this really how it must all end? Or has the new forum started and you just neglected to tell me and Uof1 etc? Preferring to keep us and our ramblings corraled here in the old forum for all eternity? Nice tautology, hmm?

Eh? New forum? Wha?
*dribble*
Sorry, seem to have been asleep for the last... oh, several weeks really. These new forum thingies keep happening to me - turn my back for a bit, don't have time to visit, and wham - they've changed everything again.
Anyway... *drags thoughts back to topic* a few people on here know who I am, but then I don't say anything on here I wouldn't say to them anyway. But mostly, I prefer not to be identified. On a few occasions I've been able to post something about an employer that I couldn't have posted if I'd been using my real name - not just rantiness, but when genuinely in a horrible situation and needing advice.

New Forum... Keep up!
We are talking regime change... well.. actually, just a slicker, easier forum... and a full Facebook like system behind it (though using that is up to the individual... you can just use the forum... )
and believe it or not... this forum is over 5 years old!
Unbelievably, I was asked recently about helping to restart the Digger... and so I have bought the domain, given them an email... and then handed it all over - after all, the Digger and BAJR may share certain characteristics.. BUT... they are independant of BAJR. (plausible deniability)
So there is every chance that the new Digger will be happening sometime soonish as well..
All change Mr Manwaring ding ding!

Not a bad responce to the poll so far-and I hope many more people vote on it.
I can well understand why so many folks prefer to remain nameless (they who stick their head above the parapet-are the first to get shot at) as it is too easy for a person to be labelled "a troublemaker", and usually it is because a person has had the audacity to stand up and complain either for themselves or on behalf of others!!!!
At the last unit I worked at before this currant contract,I was quite certain my post were read by the management-but I didn't mind as anything i've written I am more than prepared to debate with anyone who might take exception with (either face to face or online).
As for me becoming a moderator...WOW!!! that would be an honour, but before I could say yea or nay I need to get my home computer sorted out (again). After all, its a bit hard to be a mod-if your reduced to using your local library computer once a week!!!!!!!

I'll say what I think, under my own name and couldn't give two hoots about what's made of it. I remember putting in an article a few years ago on BAJR entitled "We're being screwed" and folk at the time telling me that I'd be blacklisted because of it. Don't care!
