So Dinosaur would one of your suggestions for the future be that staff from the 'office' should pass on their skills to the field team and vice versa? Seems to me a relatively simple problem to address given good will from all parties involved...

We are already on it! Will take a little time to get things in place though.

Would be a lot simpler (and make a lot of people very happy) if they put the people who actually know how to dig a hole back out in the field? - I'm almost certain there's a whole sea of unemployed, experienced, and possibly even literate, report-writers out there.... :face-stir:

i suspect that it'll be back to the few with degrees (from a limited pool, as most departments will have closed...) running sites and the great unwashed from MSC-type schemes digging - regardless of skill-set - forgive my own cynicism

I've noticed that there are only four jobs on BAJR jobs site... and one of these will run out tomorrow. Is this a record for the least number of jobs on BAJR? A pretty pants state of affairs... :face-crying:
