Maybe a more cut price way is just to do GIS and CAD courses at evening class, read the books and get really **** hot at them. Its easier than it looks to teach yourself how to use the programmes. If a beast like me with barely opposable thumbs can manage it, so can anyone. For onwards employment, I have the feeling that real computery skills might be more useful than a PGDip.
