Agreed completely.There are already far too many elements of our little industry that consistantly "ignore" archaeology and the planning system anyway.It creates a profit margin and we laughingly describe it as a profession.Now, giving freely of your own time and talents is something else altogether-but, if I was to hear about a certain section of society in my area that were keen to push the hideously inadequate planning process to one side-I would be only too happy to deliver a few thousand screaming tax-payers to their doorsteps.Tiz bad enough as it is with some practitioners in our industry believing that they are somehow above "all that law stuff" without a consultant blurring the edges.Peter, either you are asking for help,aid and contribution or, you are toying with the rules as is your bent-which one is it?:face-huh:
