That sounds great.

One thing I've been meaning to take a closer look at is Arc2Earth (http://www.arc2earth.com). That exports KML files from ArcGIS.

My guess is that someone will produce a hack that allows GE to run via a browser, similar to FlashEarth - meaning you won't have to install and run GE from your local machine at all.

That's if Google don't do it first Wink

I hadn't seen that. I took a quick look at the client list, and there's USGS and OS using it, it seems. Although it's not going to really meet our "big red arrow crossing border" graphic need, it seems, on the surface to be a real timesaver. If anyone does go further with it, I'd love to know how much tidying up of the processed file they need to do to make it viable as a model on GE.
