Hi Everyone,
We want to know why people choose the university that that they did/do to get their degree(s) in archaeology. If you can help us by filling out this survey. Thank you
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/view...ZHlNeWc6MQ
PS this might the shortest archaeology related survey you will ever take- the average time to completion is 26 sec. (Max so far 48 sec.)
Again, Thank you.

Met work a day archies years before I started my interest.
I knew what the gig was and still I came to do it
Felt disappointing that people came and started careers with the point of view of 'we dont do anything' and 'this isnt a real job'
(but they are still around and complaining):face-huh:
Here for the good times, because they earned it and dont really want to earn anything better?

Passion for history, thrill of discovery, unaware of whining, snarky majority. Thought archaeology would have a real foundation in anthropology , meaning a tolerance of different cultures, others and ideas. Oops, wrong once again.B)

The results are back in 700+ responses- you can read the whole report here-
http://www.archaeologycourses.org/about-contact-us.html
"The results of this survey provide a valuable insight into the main factors that influence the choice of a specific university by prospective archaeology students. The geographical location of the university was/is deemed important by a substantial majority (71%) of archaeologists when they are looking for a BA/BSc, by half (48%) of when it comes to choose/chose of an MA/MSc program, and by 4 out of 10 (37%) in relation to a PhD program.
