True, but why a heritage map? Were people thinking they are man made? I thought the whole point is that they're not!
On the digging front:
I can remember trowling back as one of a long line of people, basically just removing trample from the day before and being annoyed that this was just make work. I was even more annoyed when I spotted a piece of very silvery chewing gum wrapper in the bit I was about to shovel up. Luckily, I was so annoyed I picked it up in order to point out the utter futility of what we were doing to those around me (not that I'm stroppy or anything....). It was a 1st century silver Roman coin.
