BAJR Wrote:As it is a Social Enterprise
one expects it to be a business with primarily social objectives whose surpluses are principally reinvested for that purpose in the business or in the community, rather than being driven by the need to maximise profit for shareholders and owners. It is also working with Vivacity, an independent, not-for-profit...
As ever BAJR, bang on the money. We are as transparent as it is possible to be in this - and need to be: crowd funding is based on trust. Our social objectives are clearly articulated, our income visible for all to see (in real time), our deliverables clearly explained, our funders listed by name. Our accounts will also be published at companies house in good time. There are few other businesses/charities in our sector that I can think of whose inner workings are laid so visible for all to see.
