Just been reading more about it.. and it is sad, that the farmer must express his feelings in such a way. But its not about the money --- though I know how I would feel if I was offered even 100k! would I say... no no.... I'm fine! :face-confused:

However, later on in the report... we see why it was found! THe plouging was recent.. and the items were found on a bit of a mound - probably easier for the hoard depositor to find it again! However, one has to ask.... Bronze Age barrow??
