Just to show how easy it would be... here is a test

I just put it through an OCR.. now you can search the text...
took a few seconds per page. imagine being able to search the whole 40 years magazine for the word putney... for example... and then getting every article with the word! Now thats using digital power.

Perhaps they may consider this?
