There are many arguments for and against the display of human remains. In recent years many museums have been looking very closely at this and there are ways of presenting human remains to the public with respect and dignity. On the whole I am for this not least because in our society death is such a strong taboo. We need to encounter the dead to remove the fear. I don't want a minority group telling me what can and cannot be done with my ancestors.
