I did have one person who asked to see aps of leylines once. I thought I'd better check the details. 'Ley lines, let me just confirm that these are the invisible lines of force that are supposed to cross the countryside.... I think the key word here is invisible.....'}
And there was also the person who 'proved' that the Uffington White Horse was not prehistoric but that a number of other Victorian ones were, because if you linked the others up to Avebury on a map they made a pyramid shape, whereas that didn't work with Uffington.
