BAJR starts a thread on plastic bags. Lo and behold, a couple of weeks later Alistair Darling announces a tax on them in the new budget. Coincidence? I think not...
He obviously reads BAJR and we should use this to cunningly influence future policy. I suggest we start with a reversal of any tax on decent wine and whisky. Hosty, maybe you can do a subliminal message thing?
I wonder how Darling will reconcile his environment policy with his determination to erect several thousand new homes over lots of earmarked development sites... Hmmm...
