Many thanks Troll.

This is a board that is designed for free and open speech... it is not here however to allow offensive comments to be allowed to just go past without some sort of comment about these being unsuitable. I have asked for an apology both online and also via a personal email. Neither were forthcoming, and therefore a one month cooling off ban has been imposed. I have seen too often the language and mud slinging that degenerates into clever retorts and one liners. These discussions go nowhere. If people want to slag off people ? fine? just try not to do it here.

I find comments such as ?they should return to raking in skips? offensive? just as I find comments about some archaeologists offensive.. the people are warned and an explanation for the warning is given.. (remind me to smack you harder next time troll?Wink )

To continue on with a diatribe with such frankly bizarre comments such as ?they rip the rings off dead pilots ? is just not debating in my meaning of the word.

Sea Surgeon is quite welcome to email me directly and tell me details of these events, he/she might even want to explain there comments.. if not we will just have to wait until August when I hope they will try and temper their comments? I am interested to hear them, but not in the language in which they are couched.

I hope that is clear and sensible. I should perhaps create an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) something which I was proud that after 3 years .. this forum had not required.
