I forgot to add that watching privileged individuals waving pretend willies at each other was at the very least in bad taste, but then what do I know!

@Dino; btw, i have been sacrificing to keep bad spirits from your trenches, and will be invoicing you soon.
using psyKick powers, i anticpate your queries:
either ;
A- you no have seen no bad spirits, thus demonstrating the strength of my Fearsome magic, and the need for more regular payments (tsk, tsk)
or
B- you have seen bad spirits, indicating more payment is required IMEDIATELY for bigger sacrifices and and upgraded service plan.
Yours SinSeer-ly,
The YouTubeDruid.

This question isn't too different to what is the museum of London and by what right. It seems to me that what is in an Act of Parliament on matters of Heritage is an utter joke. Probably the biggest problem with these Acts of Parliament is that they are probably only rarely questioned in a court. Anybody know of any examples where these stupid sections and sheduals were involved?
If I was to try and get on a contemporary bandwagon is that is all a tax scam. This lot are not paying corporation tax, they are all trying to go global, they basically rebrand yearly and why and how is £80 million pounds moved around -and its not by anybody who you would call an archaeologist, you and your children are never going to find out.
Out of interest Alisder, most of the submariners I have known have been a bit on the tall side, whats that all about.

Doesnt matter how many people have the codes if there's only one ULF transmitter in the UK capable of transmitting them around the world to the receiving subs? - always a bit of a weak link in our 'deterrent' [luckily now replaced by satellite comms]

and the question is who will set the charity up and by what "right"?
in many ways the question should be can government set up charities or should they be able to. Government goes around giving lots of advice about setting up Charities
https://www.gov.uk/government/policies/m...ganisation
but nowhere does it seem to say that government will set them up and run them for the people.

Now tell me Big Man who do you think actually controls the requisit codes for the Navy subs to launch?
I stand corrected. :face-approve:
Though the result is the same.
Yes the USA is the only country to use an atomic bomb in anger........though no one seems bothered by the campaigns of firebombing civilians during the second world war carried out by the UK first I think.
Oh and yeah, I suppose I meant launched from most places that are underwater to most places on land?
As to who controls the launch codes I have no idea........and though you are indeed correct I am big, I don't make a habit of bragging about it.
As to a nuclear deterrent, I wonder what would have happened if the nazis had launched a submarine based nuclear weapon before the war ended. I imagine we would be moaning about different things, but in secret of course.
