The funniest thing that I heard Colin Refrew do was to complain about the noise and the foul language of the diggers when a certain unit based in oxford carried out an excavation behind his office.

"What would Colin Renfrew do
If he was here right now,
He'd make a plan
And he'd follow through,
That's what Colin Renfrew'd do...
So what would Colin Renfrew do
If he were here today,
I'm sure he'd kick an ass or two,
That's what Colin Renfrew'd do."

Don't want to appear a party-pooper, but could someone explain how the subject/individual specific nature of this thread passes the BAJR AUP?

As it is non-offensive and non accusatory or even one that seeks to say Colin is either right or wrong (which would be ok as a discussion) it can pass the AUP - and it also fits, because before it was posted, the subject matter was passed by the host (oh... that would be me ! :face-smart: )
And, it turns out that he can disco - which can only be good!

Can Colin dance better than Owen?
I once heard Chris Tilley read a very dense paper on the construction of symbolic meaning, then later the same day fail comprehensively to perform the sequence of four symbols required in the song YMCA. Whether this has anything useful to tell us about the relationship between theory and practice I sincerely doubt, but it did make me laugh so hard I nearly fell off my bar stool.
Does anyone else have any poorly-attributed comparisons between notable archaeologists or archaeological theories, and seventies dancefloor classics?
