As I said, it explains why ages ago someone advised me that the best way to protect an idea from being stolen was to write it down and then post it to yourself. Wink

I once had an idea I might be better off joining the postal service . . .

I days of yore I had some kids books published, it took quite a long time of posting 'ideas,' out to publishers before one of them bit at the hook -and I went through the whole business of posting (by registered mail) each story idea back to myself before I sent it off, (in case the publishers found someone else to rip off my ideas.) You eventually end up with a sodding great stack of of ideas sealed up in envelopes (cos there was illustrations in them they were big A4 envelopes) mouldering away in the attic that nobody gives a s**t about. Not even me.
The most important thing about an 'idea' is the mind that creates it - nobody can take that off you. My guess is that the company that ripped off the other companies stuff hasn't the ability to dig a dunny hole especially if they can't write a few words to explain themselves.

Next Winter I know how I'll light the fire.

Haven't seen any yet, it will be interesting when I finally do get the chance.
