Festival of British Archaeology details 2010

Please find below details for this year's Festival of British Archaeology in England and Wales .
Saturday 17th July to Sunday 1st August

The Festival complements and sits alongside Scottish Archaeology Month (SAM) www.archaeologyscotland.org.uk which takes place every September, and Archaeology Days in Northern Ireland in June.

Events ranging from excavation open days and behind-the-scenes tours to family fun days, hands-on activities, guided walks, talks and finds identification workshops take place all over the UK during this special fortnight.
