Quote:quote:My question is still: Can an IFA member who heads a company that is not an RAO be held accountable for the actions of that company? Has it ever happened? If it can happen, then this gives the IFA disciplinary procedure scope beyond the ranks of the RAOs on employment issues like pay. And if it can't happen, why not!?
I think that really is one for the IFA, however it is likely to involve them having to examine how decision making is structured within the organisation and the extent to which the IFA member has responsibility. Obviously the guidelines for individuals are different for those applying to RAOs. If the individual breaches the individual guidelines in the course of their work then there would be a case.
