The depths of knowledge displayed by Tom and Kevin have left me feeling astounded and not a little inadequate. I promise though, that on the next archaeological project I work on (if ever) I will be sporting a bow tie in reverence.

I think we should develop a whole uniform for archaeologists bow-tie included - Knee breeches, shoes with huge brass buckles and a velvet jacket with excessively frilly shirt underneath. Somewhere in the direction of Jon Pertwee's Doctor Who with an extra splash of bad taste.
Builders would never snicker at us again.

No no no, the long scarf was Tom Baker I'm talking Jon Pertwee - the latterday Worzel Gummidge. Although daleks into wheelbarrows is an excellent idea. Maybe the hats could be knitted, a knitted Rembrandt hat would give a Bob Marley touch.

Apologies, all those doctors blur together in a memory already befuddled by asteroid impacts and the like. Maybe we could broaden it out and issue all the workforce with small flutes? (or is that too obscure for the younger readers?)
