Never seen it yet on any job I've done with detectorists, the scrap always gets dumped on the field edge if nearby, or they empty their pockets out wherever they're parked at the end of the day and chuck it in the hedge - maybe Yorkshiremen aren't as canny as is usually made out? (seen same in several other counties too)
....hope every archaeologist in South Yorkshire was watching Silent Witness last night, you got a right good slagging off! Get those letters of complaint off to the BBC (unless you actually '...are all back-stabbing *****s....' of course) :face-approve:
