Kali and Brockan are in trouble. They have been using their stone axes to chip limpets off the rocks, but they've gone too far out and find themselves trapped by the tides. cant remember what it was called. Basically british army people on leave in Cairo who drive model ford s types, I think, off to places like Siwa and that place cut out of cliffs. Invented the expansion/condensation chamber off the radiator. Resulted in the deep dessert patrol groups SAS and all that. led to a life long disregard of Landrovers as too heavy, prefer pergots 504s for transporting camels.

I read Biggles (and am just reading some again) - still became an archaeologist though....
On Biggles - came across a volume the other day. Genuine, honest-to-god - it's called 'Biggles takes it rough'..... Oh the more innocent times.....
