There are small bits of nastiness, which are fortunately water off a ducks back, but continual reference to being a Scottish Archaeologist (while he is British) and tags like David 'haggis' Connolly.. could be construed as a bit inflamatory...
Anyway... I'm used to it... after all, I am a tartan kilted whiskey swilling jocko! :face-huh:

Happy Christmas every one.!

Bravetart, I'm sure you'll rise above it. [:p]

have recieved new that I am... quote... 'b@ll#cks' (god I love stimulating debate - and dots)
also the side kick chips in with a rare show of restraint
"As for .. Scottish correspondent (that'll be me again... the barely coherent haggis munching jocko) being "well respected" he should ask around, for instance amongst archaeologists"

however I am not alone, where poor Suzie Thomas (new CBA North Secretary) is also a pro collecting archaeologist... Mike Heyworth is shocked and comments "how did we miss that at interview?! damn ... Wink"

Lets try and see if 2009 sees more and more outreach and less shouting. In all things.

Happy .... Xmas .... to.... you ..... all !!!!!!

Quote:quote:persistent purveyor of all those dots marking an inability to formulate complete sentences.

.... I can't deal with that... it is sooooooooooo not true...

oh.. hold on...... damn... [:p]

This is better than when I was called a Pantomime archaeologist...

... was I the front end or the rear?

It seems that I have no respect from right minded archaeologists or other heritage professionals.

Glad I still have my sense of humour.........

Perhaps you are neither and therefore no end of an archaeologists? Big Grin

I also use lots of full stops, and exclamation marks. This is because in some forms of communication it is appropriate. And the addition of these and smilies (etc) allows us to deal with the fact that otherwise it is really rather hard to tell when people are being serious and when they're not! Sounds like someone needs to check that their sense of humour didn't disappear at the end of the year...... [:p]
