Simon Roper of BaRAS has carried out a photographic survey of  the Grade II Listed  former Magistrates Court in Bridewell Street, Bristol.

The building is to be renovated for its new use as a youth arts venue, however, the photographic recording captures the haunting beauty of decay prior to refurbishment; many areas having been prone to severe attacks of both dry and wet rot during the building’s 20 years of vacancy.
