I’d like to alert you to the fact that there is a current e-petition on the Downing Street website, which asks the Prime Minister to remove all VAT charges on building repairs to listed buildings. The deadline for signing is 31st January 2008:

Is that good? What number of signatures gets politician's / civil servants attention?
If you have signed a petition that has reached more than 200 signatures by the time it closes, you will be sent a response from the Government by email.

So... that should have an effect!

Same with the PAS one

1,874... though I have to say.... it could be better!

even another 126 would be nice!
