Anyone remember the TV gameshow 'childs play' where children had to describe various objects/people/profession for guest celebs to solve. On one episode, they had to describe 'an archaeologist'... Resulting in the following descriptions:

They live in broken down old houses
They have beards
Wear old clothes
They eat cold bake beans :D

Out of the mouthes of babes!

I can't remember whether the guest solved this one.

They could have added 'a career in ruins'

The original or the Adam and Joe version ("let me tell you about the winds" Thrrrrrp!)

My favourite is A bridge Too Far: "We're the cavalry. It would be bad form to arrive early; in the nick of time would do nicely"

I like the line in this that says "There are two kinds of people in this life my friend: Those with loaded guns, and those that dig. You Dig." Always thought there seemed to be some kind of developer-funded archaeological metaphor in there somewhere...

Anyone else like Stargate? Archaeology and spaceships!
