Pottery course advice

Hello there

I am really interested in studying to become a specialist in Roman / Medieval pottery. Please could somebody advise me what qualifications are desired and what courses are available to achieve them.
Also is there a demand for specialists in this area or is it a difficult career to break into?

Getting a fulltime position in british archaeology is difficult to say the least so any specialism should help on paper. However you'll probably find that its like waiting for deadmans boots, nobody will really want you till you've had some experience in the job therefore no-one will offer you a job etc etc etc!!
