Hi, i'm a Grade Eleven student and i was hoping for some advice for my first assignment in Ancient History... We are required to select an archaeological dig or site which illustrates how modern techniques have helped corroborate or defy/destroy previous assumptions and theories on ancient civilizations or cultures... (therefore, for a better story, it would be best to have a 'revelation thanks to the benefits of modern techniques')... I just changed classes and need to locate a topic really quickly so that i can start the assignment (am already late) and still haven't found a suitable topic... please just post any names or sites that might be suitable or relatign to my topic, it would be greatly appreciated... I previously had the mayan bjoros discovery in mind, except my teacher discredited it because she taught it to the class previously (although i wasn't there to gain the 'inspiration)... thanks so very much for reading this far!

This will be a first step to learn about teh use of a robot to find out more in the Great Pyramid... this should be a good start to show how technology and advanced techniques can bring about new discoveries
