Hello all, I'm a Canadian archaeologist who is thinking of moving to the UK and is looking to find field work. I'm not looking in one praticular area, but more searching for something that I'm qualified for. I have two years of field and lab experience plus my BA. I've also worked as a field surveyor for a digital mapping company and know how to use GIS software. So my question is where would this put me on the Level of Responsibilty scale? We don't have such a thing in Canada and I'm having trouble figuring out where exactly I would place. Thanks for your help!

Fear not... the level of responsibility scale is something BAJR has just introduced (after a lot of thought and talking to people of course) .... All you have to do is look at what is your best skill and then decide what level you best suit... So if you put survey down as your main skill then think about what level of responsibility you are a) comfortable with and b) feel able to acheive. - If you feel you can run a project out in the field as a surveyor... you might try level 4 if you would need to be told what to survey and why then you would be level 2.
Hope that helps
