Biblical archaeology in Israel/Palestine

Dr. William Dever, considered the godfather of biblical archaeology was asked during the Chicago panel discussion of "The Bible's Buried Secrets" if biblical archaeology affects the relationship between the Palenstians and the Israelis and who is using these new findings.



this does indeed raise questions of whither archaeology? can it remain apolitical?
