Sorry troll, this does not make sense, I tried on another fred to say hello, welcome you back with a reference to the Cincinnati kid but there are a number of wigs about who have taken credit for our past and have our futures all sorted out for us (so long as their pensions are all right) but as it happens the censorship has allowed me to realise that the reference should have been Cool Hand Luke.

Unit... on the subject of pensions... I take it nobody you know or are friends with has a pension/works for a council? If they do, then perhaps you could just think about buttoning it... you are coming very close to a further ban, disrupting threads and producing baffling posts.
So... warning has been made...
You are skating on thin ice.

IS any of this stuff being conserved? I'm not sure that "wire brush and petrol" sounds ideal.

Your lack of archaeological imagination disappoints me Curator

Reminds me too much of a similar 'art piece' in a great house in the Lothians, turned into a 'golf hotel'... one of the workmen reported it.. though did not want to be named, as the developer had warned about getting archies involved, as they would stop the development... another lost artwork! :(
